WE LOOK TO ON-BOARD
TEST EQUIPMENT AND PROCEDURE DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER (M/F)
- Performing measurements of electronic circuits
- Defining and developing test procedures
- Conducting tests based on test procedures
- Preparing test reports
- Assisting in the development of test equipment for efficient testing of advanced high-density interconnect (HDI) printed circuit boards
- Integrating test equipment with compatible instruments (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, multimeters, etc.) and/or advanced test systems (e.g., PXI)
- Collaborating with the hardware (HW) design team and the embedded software development team
- Working with the verification and quality assurance department
- Cooperating with other departments/teams within the company
- Performing tasks as assigned by the supervisor
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in a natural science or technical field
- Knowledge of electronic circuit design (e.g., Altium Designer)
- Experience in electronic circuit simulation (e.g., SPICE)
- Proficiency in electronic circuit measurements
- Active knowledge of the English language
- At least 2 years of prior work experience in a similar role (testing electronic assemblies)
- Strong technical orientation
- Goal-oriented, decisive, independent, and capable of setting priorities and taking responsibility for decisions
- A responsible individual who remains calm and focused in stressful situations
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, etc.)
- Category B driving license
Beneficial knowledge and experience:
- Candidates with a degree in electrical engineering/electronics will have an advantage
- Basic knowledge of Python for measurement applications is a plus
- Experience in testing electronic assemblies or developing (fully or partially automated) test equipment is an advantage
- Familiarity with advanced testing systems (e.g., PXI) is a plus
