Space Business Forum Dubai

SkyLabs CEO, dr. Tomaž Rotovnik was participating Space Business Forum Dubai organized by the UAE government. The business forum was opened by his excellency Minister of Economy Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri and by her excellency Minister of State for Advanced Technology and the President of UAE’s Space Agency Sarah Al Amiri. Ministers presented a development strategy aimed at reducing the cost of space technologies for use in low Earth orbits in the segment of small satellites and the upcoming use of extra-terrestrial materials. As part of the business forum, CEO dr. Tomaž Rotovnik was invited speaker on the event concerning Space Exploration for Earth Conservation. He presented SkyLabs strategy for the development of next generation satellite platforms for low and medium Earth orbits, as well as vision for the development of arachnid shaped robotic platforms for future Space Exploration.
