SOFTWARE QUALITY ENGINEER (M/F)

Your Tasks and Responsibilities:
  • Test with Precision:
    • Write, maintain, and execute comprehensive test cases using JIRA and the XRAY plugin, ensuring traceability and effective testing processes.
  • Validate Cutting-Edge Software:
    • Conduct software validation and functional testing of SOC-based units, identifying issues and documenting results to ensure our products meet the highest quality standards.
  • Simulated Testing:
    • Perform tests in simulated operational environments, rigorously evaluating unit performance across various conditions to guarantee reliability.
  • Thorough Documentation:
    • Analyze and interpret test results, documenting findings clearly in detailed reports, and ensure proper archiving of testing results for future reference.
  • Collaborative Problem-Solving:
    • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and collaborate closely with hardware, software, and quality teams to troubleshoot and resolve functional issues.
  • Documentation Excellence:
    • Write and maintain testing documentation, including test plans, procedures, results, and issue tracking.
  • Organizational Skills:
    • Manage to-do lists and tasks to prioritize work effectively and meet deadlines.
  • C Programming Expertise:
    • Work with C programming to validate software components and develop small scripts or tools needed for functional testing.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Contribute your insights to enhance testing strategies, processes, and tools, ensuring compliance with ECSS and ISO standards for quality and reliability in the space industry.
Requirements:
  • A degree in a natural sciences or technical field (e.g., programming, quality assurance).
  • Proficiency in C programming language and at least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, particularly crucial for the space industry.
  • Proactive mindset with a solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
  • Goal-oriented and independent, with the ability to set priorities and take responsibility for your work.
  • Strong organizational skills with a focus on quality and continuous improvement.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, etc.) and project management tools such as JIRA or similar.
  • A driver’s license (B category) and a willingness to travel if necessary,
